The top three seeds from the East Night League will automatically qualify for the Night League tournament, which begins August 13.   The fourth seed will have an opportunity to qualify as a wild card. 

#1 seed - Division winner with the best overall record
#2 seed - The other Division winner
#3 seed - The second-place ballclub with the better overall record
#4 seed - The other second-place ballclub 

The following tiebreakers will be used to determine the four top seeds, if necessary:
A) head-to-head results
B) Division record, if comparing teams within a division
C) strength of victory (total wins of defeated opponents)
D) coin toss or one game playoff
